If you choose a non-WiFi modem, you will need to supply your own WiFi router such as the TP-Link Archer AX or AC series (any other WiFi router should also work). You can buy a WiFi router from Amazon for about $50-80. A separate WiFi router gives you more control and flexibility with your home network (WiFi range, security options etc).

Please note that if you choose to use your own modem, following information must be 100% accurate for the service to work. Any errors will prevent the service from working and can take several days to resolve.

Installation

Most service activations do not require a technician visit. Once you receive your modem and an email confirming service activation, simply plug in the modem to start using the service. However, in some cases (e.g., if the cable line is no longer connected), a technician visit may be necessary to connect the line. To ensure a smooth process, please provide your preferred dates for a technician appointment just in case. Here is a detailed explanation of the process.
